Cool Lambrusco!

I have tested Vecchia Modena from Cleto Chiarli for only 8 Euro. The wine is delicious lightly sparkling with a dark violet colour. The wine must be served well chilled to 8-10 degrees C and therefore have a somewhat limited nose of blueberry and raspberry jam. The flavour is delicious in spite of its youth with fresh hints of raspberry, black cherry and fresh herbs.Sure, this Lambrusco is one of the more low priced versions from the producer, but it does not matter when the experience is a big surprise. You can have the wine as a nice welcome drink, but can also be heartily recommended for spicy vegetarian cuisine with Indian influences. A fun and good way to broaden your wine skills without spending fortune.
