Christmas is getting closer! And here's a dish that forever can be a long-lasting impression of your lovely Christmas tradition. And it's getting even better when the dish is related to one of my favourite City's and also the football club AC Milan with my hero Ibra. With Christmas in Sweden follows Saffron for the traditional Christmas baking. But if you get a bag of Saffron left over, especially now when the price of saffron has gone down, I can heartily recommend this Saffron Christmas Risotto.Milanese Risotto Prepare 1.5 litres of vegetable and meat broth. Add 100g butter (can in Norway replaced with oil ) to the wok and melt, and then pour in 350 grams risotto rice and let the butter soak into the long grain, supplemented with big splash of good Chardonnay. In a separate pan you lightly fry a chopped onion, which you then ad to the rice. And now comes the big secret to create a really yummy risotto. Make sure that the broth gets into the rice in small steps, silver spoon by spoon. Let the Saffron also be added quite early in this process. When all the broth has been used, just finish up with 100 g of parmesan cheese that may melt and create the perfect taste of delicious spices, salt and lovely creaminess. A perfect course that season Christmas in a way that forever will affect my Christmas-inspired food.Merry X-mas dear wine blog readers!
