A natural companion!
At last it has arrived. A new vintage of Springfield Wild Yeast from the Robertson area in South Africa. Some years ago I was introduced to this great wine by my dear South African friends J and D from Franschhoek. Hoping to visit the property with them at our next visit to this divine place on earth.

Now for the glorious wine. Colour is beautifully yellow with wonderful aromas of pineapple, mango and peach. The flavour is seductively good with complex nuances of peach, citrus, mango, butter, pears and a little herbs. Have tested at least five vintages of this wine and it just keeps getting better with each vintage. If you want to experience how an unoaked Chardonnay should taste at its best, this is a fantastic choice. One of South Africa's best in its class for a bargain price. Take the opportunity for it is already getting sold out.

A natural companion to a hot bath and/or to an Indian chicken dish.smiley Namaste!
