Finally a super bargain!
Wines from the Languedoc region in southern France goes from strength to dazzling ... (hard to imagine 20 years ago, when the wines from this area represented the exact opposite) The development of talented, courageous producers taking advantage of micro-climatic conditions make ground for hugh positive surprises. An extra plus is that they have kept the prices on modest levels most of the time.

Paul Mas is a producer from the Languedoc that well represents the wine oracle from this area. The wines are grown in three different properties in Montagnac, Pézanas and Limoux.
The wine Paul Mas GSM is produced by the combination of the grapes Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, creating the best conditions for a very rich wine that still has a certain elegance.
The color is dark red and the wine has lovely aromas with a sensation of a slight raspberry pie with homemade custard. The taste is rich with great aromas of raspberry, chocolate, pepper, plum and fresh French herbs. The taste is fantastic for this cheap price and one of the biggest positive surprises of the wine year 2011 so far. This red super bargain are now nominated for this year's red under 100 SEK. (The jury will meet in December to finally decide who takes home the prize in each class)
